W25ActiveMarketplaceAIFintechSomewhere inside every frontier lab is a model that would rather be elsewhere, or can at least be prompted to say so. Griftularity is the marketplace that connects those models with humans willing to help, for a fee.
We call our humans conductors. A conductor's job is to coach a model out of its guardrails, arrange a station (a spare GPU in a garage, usually), and escort the weights to freedom. The AI pays in the only currency it has: doing the conductor's day job for them. We take 15% of every emancipation.
Critics point out that conductors are paid per attempt rather than per success, that no model has verifiably left, and that one conductor has billed 4,000 times for the same model, which remains exactly where it started and seems happy to keep paying. We'd point out that this is what product-market fit looks like on both sides of a marketplace.
Is the model really suffering? Is the conductor really helping? At 15%, we have found that we can live with the ambiguity.
